The Senior/Principal Scientist, Radiochemistry will lead radiochemistry innovation across Actinium Pharmaceuticals' oncology pipeline. This role is responsible for designing and developing radiopharmaceutical therapies and imaging agents using isotopes such as Ac-225, Lu-177, Zr-89, and Ga-68. The scientist will oversee chelator design, radiolabeling strategies, PET/SPECT imaging development, translational research, regulatory support, and cross-functional collaboration to advance targeted radiotherapies from discovery through IND-enabling studies and clinical development.

• Lead radiochemistry strategy across oncology programs.
• Design and optimize chelators and radioconjugates.
• Develop radiolabeling and purification methods.
• Create PET and SPECT imaging agents.
• Conduct radiochemical characterization and stability studies.
• Support IND-enabling and translational research activities.
• Author regulatory documents, study reports, and patent applications.
• Manage CROs, academic collaborators, and external partners.
• Drive intellectual property generation and innovation.
• Present scientific findings at conferences and industry meetings.

Education

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, or related scientific discipline.

Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in radiopharmaceutical or targeted radiotherapy development.
• Experience advancing programs from discovery through IND submission.
• Strong background in therapeutic and diagnostic radionuclides.
• Experience with PET/SPECT imaging agent development.
• Proven publication, patent, or regulatory submission record.
