The Senior Officer – R&D is responsible for laboratory development of APIs and intermediates from initial research through commercialization. The role includes bench work, GMP/GLP compliance, experimental and analytical documentation, product validation and commercialization, laboratory safety and housekeeping, and supervision of Lab Attendants and Helpers.

Responsibilities

Bench work related to lab development of various APIs and intermediates (Starting from search to commercialization).
To prepare and maintain GMP and GLP in the Lab.
To record and maintain online experimental details and analytical results.
Validation and commercialize the Lab Developed Products.
To maintain and ensure good housekeeping and safety.
To supervise the activities of Lab attendant and Helpers.

Qualifications

Knowledge of API/intermediate development from laboratory stage through commercialization.
Good understanding of GMP and GLP requirements.
Experience in maintaining experimental details and analytical results.
Knowledge of product validation and commercialization activities.
Strong awareness of laboratory safety and housekeeping practices.
Ability to supervise and coordinate Lab Attendants and Helpers.
Good analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
